AMRI Special Education is managed by The Ayurvedic & Megnetotherapy Research Institute(AMRI),established on 2^nd November 1981. It is an autonomous body registered as Non Govt. Voluntary organization under S.R. Act. XXI/1860 in 1984. It is Recognised by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) Govt. Of India New Delhi. The institute has been recognised by Ministry of social justice & empowerment, Govt. Of India. AMRI is also affiliated by NIEPMD- Chennai.

AMRI, Education Training Centre for Mentally Handicapped was started in January 1988, at mid-town of Patna. The centre promoted the Self-help Problem, Behavioural disorder, Emotional disturbances, learning disability, Speech problem, Spastic Problem Cerebral palsy, Disorder of Mentally Handicapped. The Education Training Centre is running under Supervision of one, Principle, three, NIEPMD Trained special educators, one Psychiatrist, one Physiotherapist, one speech Audiologist, one Occupational therapist, one Art & Craft Teacher, one Music Dance Teacher, Two sweepers, Two Night Guard, Watch-man Security Guard.
